My initial thoughts were that gestures can never be offending. I lacked the skills to study the uses of different non-verbal cues and be sensitive when using them. However, I have learnt that Non-verbal communication could convey an entirely different message to people of various cultures. One gesture could have a different meaning and at times offending to some cultures. Additionally, I have learnt that the perception of time, proximity, dressing code and the physical touching would convey a different meaning to different cultures. According to Dwyer (2016), without the knowledge of different cultures, interaction and negotiation would be tough and frustrating for people of different cultural origin. Different cultures interpret words differently and decode non-verbal communication differently and, this would cause tension among the communicators and result to misunderstanding and conflicts. I have learnt that people interacting with members of other cultures should strive to understand the perception and the interpretation of other people actions to interact harmoniously. People should learn how to greet members of other cultures, how to introduce themselves and exchange of business cards as it varies from one culture to the other. The structure and rhythm of this blank verse carries him through but the imagery that Shakespeare uses signals to the audience the corruption in Denmark he uses phrases such as defeated joy, one auspicious and one drooping eye and wisest sorrow. These opposing images and hollow phrases reveal the hypocrisy of the diplomats words; how can a person have one auspicious and one drooping eye unless they are duplicitous? Claudius opening speech is also eloquent, relaxed and so carefully structured that it appears rehearsed he deals with three items of business before confronting his black-suited nephew: Old King Hamlets death; the threat from Fortinbras army; Laertes impending departure to France. Shakespeare here signals to the audience that Claudius is uneasier than he appears by leaving his nephew and son-in-law to deal with last. In my opinion, the exposition of Claudius Machiavellian mature at the beginning through the theme appearance versus reality is very effective as it reveals to the audience the corruption in Elsinore which essentially instigates Hamlets revenge and also exposes Claudius at the beginning of the play as the antagonist, aligning the audiences sympathies. Furthermore, this main theme is developed through the soliloquies in particular Claudius. During his agonised soliloquy, Claudius puts on the appearance of praying but he is pseudo-sincere in this: Pray can I not, though inclination be as sharp as will. This reveals Claudius confessing to the murder of his brother but not repenting for his sins. As he is not sincere in this, he believes that he will not go to heaven: My words fly up, my thoughts remain below, words without thoughts never to heaven go. This rhyming couplet not only reveals the theme appearance versus reality, but is also richly ironic as this prayer actually saves his life. Bush a bad leader essays One time while at a nightclub I ended up going home with a girl it just so happens that I ended up drinking too much and snorting way too much yayo. So were at my house and the clothes are coming off and it just so happens that I couldn't get an errection due to all the yayo I had snorted. Just like how this was embarrassing to me and it was just the girl and I. If it was that embarrassing for me, imagine how embarrassing it would be for somebody in public life. Our president was a cocaine addict and the world knows about it so how can our president be a good leader if he was and probably still is a cocaine addict. One reason why Bush isn't a good leader is because of his decision-making. He decided to send our troops into one of the most hostile cities in Iraq. So far about one thousand and sixty five U.S soldiers have been killed in Iraq, former NFL superstar Pat Tillman was killed in Iraq. Thousands more have been injured in this war and several have been beheaded, and it just so happens most of the men that have been beheaded have been Americans. With all of these killings happening bush still hasn't brought our troops back home. We have already done what we needed to do in Iraq and he insists on staying there in Iraq. Bush has also made dumb decisions by helping out the wealthy people more than the middle class and lower class. This past yr. he gave the healthy class of people 89 billion dollars to a class that is only one percent of America. President Bush is also trying to privatize social security, which will not be good on the middle class of America. He is not trying to fix it at al l he's not even trying to raise the age for social security. Not only is Bush a bad decision maker he is also against homosexuals getting married. The History of the Computer Game Spacewar If I hadnt done it, someone wouldve done something equally exciting, if not better, in the next six months. I just happened to get there first. - Steve Russell aka Slug on inventing Spacewar. Steve Russell - Inventing of Spacewar It was in 1962 when a young computer programmer from MIT named  Steve Russell, fueled with inspiration from the writings of E. E. Doc Smith, led the team  that created the first popular computer game. Starwar was almost the first computer game ever written. However, there were at least two far-lesser-known predecessors: OXO (1952) and Tennis for Two (1958). It took the team about 200 man-hours to write the first version of Spacewar.  Russell wrote Spacewar on a PDP-1, an early DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation) interactive mini computer which used a cathode-ray tube type display and keyboard input. The computer was donated to MIT from DEC, who hoped MITs think tank would be able to do something remarkable with their product. A computer game called Spacewar was the last thing DEC expected but they later provided the game as a diagnostic program for their customers. Russell never profited from Spacewars. Description The PDP-1s operating system was the first to allow multiple users to share the computer simultaneously. This was perfect for playing Spacewar, which was a two-player game involving warring spaceships firing photon torpedoes. Each player could maneuver a spaceship and score by firing missiles at his opponent while avoiding the gravitational pull of the sun. Try playing a replica of the computer game for yourselves. It still holds today up as a great way to waste a few hours. By the mid-sixties, when computer time was still very expensive, Spacewar could be found on nearly every research computer in the country. Influence on Nolan Bushnell Russell transferred to Stanford University, where he introduced computer game programming and Spacewar to an engineering student named Nolan Bushnell. Bushnell went on to write the first coin-operated computer arcade game and start Atari Computers. An interesting sidenote is that Doc Smith, besides being a great science fiction writer, held a Ph.D. in chemical engineering and was the researcher who figured out how to get powdered sugar to stick to doughnuts. Spacewar! was conceived in 1961 by Martin Graetz, Steve Russell, and Wayne Wiitanen. It was first realized on the PDP-1 in 1962 by Steve Russell, Peter Samson, Dan Edwards and Martin Graetz, together with Alan Kotok, Steve Piner and Robert A. Saunders.
